Football: Olympiacos beat Panionios 4-0 in the Greek Super League

Olympiacos defeated Panionos 4-0 at the Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium in the Round of 19 of the Greek Super League. The host team scored all their four goals in the second half, with Panionos missing a clear chance to take the lead in the first half. Egypt international Ahmed Hassan broke the deadlock in the 68th minute to score his third goal of the season. A few minutes later Spaniard Miguel Guerrero headed home a cross from Leonardo Koutris to make it 2-0. Lazaros Christodoulopoulos scored from the penalty spot in the 79th minute to make it 3-0, and Serbian Jagos Vukovic clinched the 4-0 victory with just four minutes remaining. Olympiacos, with 45 points, reduced the gap with Greek Super League leaders PAOK to just five points, with PAOK travelling to Athens to face AEK on Sunday. Panionos remain ninth with 22 points.
