Portland Thorns beat Racing Louisville 3-0 on Saturday (5 June) to keep pace with NWSL leaders Orlando Pride. Midfielder Angela Salem opened the scoring for the Thorns in the 8th minute. It's her first goal since the 2016 regular season. Raquel Rodriguez doubled Portland's lead after the break, slotting Lindsey Horan's cutback into the net. Horan then turned goalscorer in the 77th minute when she sent a beautiful lob past Racing goalkeeper Michelle Betos to seal the 3-0 win. Portland Thorns have nine points from five games - one point behind leaders Orlando Pride.
