Football: Mead explains life in London lockdown

Arsenal’s Beth Mead is utilizing the lockdown period perfectly in London. Mead is working hard to recover from the injury. In the middle of February, Mead damaged her medial collateral ligament against Liverpool. The former Sunderland star thinks that the 2020 Tokyo postponement has increased her chances of representing Great Britain at the Olympic Games next year. Mead has scored just three goals in 14 FA Women's Super League appearances this season. The 24-year-old forward, who joined Arsenal in 2017, scored seven goals in 19 WSL appearances last season.
