Football: Chanathip Songkrasin's winner gives Thailand a 1-0 win over Bahrain

Chanathip Songkrasin secured Thailand's survival in the the Asian Cup with a narrow 1-0 win over Bahrain. Bahrain controlled the first half of the match well but failed to convert. Thailand changed their tempo in the second half and broke the deadlock in the 58th minute through Chanathip Songkrasin. The Thais should have made it two in the 72nd minute but Adisak Kraisorn couldn't beat the post. But it didn't matter as Thailand did enough to get all three points and move to second place in Group A.
