Football: Bale opens up on golf playing criticism and suffering Bernabeu whistles

Real Madrid and Wales forward, Gareth Bale, opened up recently about his complicated relationship with Real Madrid's fans in an interview with Erik Anders Lang, host and director of the Adventures in Golf series on YouTube. "A lot of people have problems with me playing golf. I don't know what their reason is that I've spoken to doctors and everybody is fine with it," said Bale. The 30-year-old has had a mixed reception amongst ardent Real Madrid fans in recent years, and at times when he was under-performing the fans have been particularly critical of his actions on the pitch and off it.
