Emmanuel Korir runs sixth fastest ever 800m in London Anniversary Games

Emmanuel Korir was way too good for the competition as he clocked the sixth fastest men's 800m in history on the second day of the London Anniversary Games. The Kenyan took victory in 1:42.05s, a new world lead and meet record, and also the fastest 800m since the London 2012 Olympic final at the same venue. His nearest rivals, American Clayton Murphy and fellow Kenyan Wyclife Kinyamal, were more than a second behind.
