Cycling: Van Aert claims back-to-back wins in Criterium du Dauphine after stage five victory

Wout van Aert made it back-to-back wins in the Criterium du Dauphine after sprinting to victory in stage five of Thursday. Belgian van Aert narrowly finished narrowly ahead of Bora–Hansgrohe's Sam Bennett and Deceuninck–Quick-Step's Julian Alaphilippe in 5 hours and 34 seconds. Adam Yates maintained his overall lead after finishing 12th in the 201-kilometre race. Van Aert followed up his win in the time trial fourth stage on Wednesday.
