Gustav Wang and Alena Ivanchenko were the respective winners of the junior men's and women's time trial titles on day three of the UCI Road World Championships in Flanders, Belgium. Denmark's Wang completed the 22.3-kilometre course from Knokke-Heist to Bruges in 25 minutes and 37 seconds - 20 seconds faster than runner-up Joshua Tarling of Great Britain. Belgian rider Alec Segaert completed the top three, edging out Carl-Frederik Bevort by half-a-second to claim the bronze medal. Ivanchenko set a fastest time of 25 minutes and five seconds on the 19.3-kilometre women's course. The Russian's mark was 11 seconds faster than runner-up Zoe Backstedt of Great Britain. Germany's Antonia Niedermaier claimed the final podium position after finishing 25 seconds off Ivanchenko's pace.
