Hong Kong star Sarah Lee defeated Japanese rival Yuka Kobayashi of Japan on Friday to win the Women's Sprint gold medal at the 2021 UCI Track Cycling Nations Cup at Hong Kong Veldodrome. Hong Kong is the inaugural event of the new Nations Cup series and is taking place with no fans and under a strict COVID-19 bubble. The Nations Cup was schedule to kick off in Wales, but that leg was cancelled due COVID safety concerns.
