Cycling: Geraint Thomas wins stage 11 of the Tour de France

Team Sky's Geraint Thomas claimed the race leader's yellow jersey. BMC's Greg van Avermaet was leading since the third stage… but he finished out of the reckoning and dropped out of the top 10 on the second day in the Alps.
