Cycling: Dutch gold sees them top UCI Track World Championships medal table

Netherlands topped the medal standings after the final day of competition at the UCI Track World Championships in Pruszkow, Poland. Harrie Lavreysen won gold and compatriot Jeffrey Hoogland took silver in the men's sprint final taking their country's medal tally to 11, six of them gold. Hosts Poland picked up their first medal, bronze going to Mateusz Rudyk in the same event. Alexandra Manly won the women's points race, ahead of Ireland's Lydia Boylan and Kirsten Wild of the Netherlands. Australia finished second in the medal standings - 10 in total with six golds. Lee Wai Sze won the women's keirin, Hong Kong's second gold to put them third in the medal standings. German pair Roger Kluge and Theo Reinhardt won the men's madison for their country's first gold of the championships as Germany finished fourth.
