Cricket News: Virat Kohli's 42nd ODI ton leads India to victory

India beat West Indies by 59 runs in a rain affected second ODI at Queen's Park Oval in Trinidad to take a 1-0 lead in 3 match series. Skipper Virat Kohli led from the front scoring his 42nd ODI century with 14 boundaries and one six. Shreyas Iyer scored his third half-century of his career off 68 balls and together with his skipper shared 125 runs for the fourth wicket as India made 279/7 off their full allotment of 50 overs. The West Indies team got a revised target of 270 off 46 overs but were bowled out with four overs to spare. In the chase, the hosts were on course at 148 for four before they lost their last six wickets for 62 runs to be bundled out for 210 in 42 overs. Bhuvneshwar Kumar was pick of the bowlers picking up 4 wickets while Mohammed Shami and Kuldeep Yadav scalped two wickets apiece.
