Captain Pat Cummins told media: "It's been phenomenal", as he reflected on a 4-0 Ashes series win over England after Australia completed a 146-run victory on day three of the fifth and final test in Hobart.

Meanwhile England's Joe Root said he wanted to continue as captain 'and take things forward' despite the humiiating defeat in Australia.

Set 271 to win the match, England got to 68 for 0, but then lost all ten wickets for just 56 runs - the tourists bowled out for 124.

Cummins, Scott Boland and impressive all-rounder Cameron Green claimed three wickets apiece.

Mark Wood had taken six wickets for 37 runs as Australia were bowled out for 155 earlier in the day.
