Cricket News : BCCI announces increase in monthly pays of former players and umpires

Past cricketers, both men and women, as well as former umpires, will see their monthly pensions increase on June 1, 2022, according to the BCCI.
Former first-class players, who previously received INR 15,000 per month, will now earn INR 30,000, while former Test players, who previously received INR 37,500, will now receive INR 60,000. Those having a pension of INR 50,000 will receive INR 70,000. Women's international players, who previously received INR 30,000, would now earn INR 52,500, while first-class cricketers who retired before 2003 and formerly received INR 22,500 will now receive INR 45,000.
