Athletics: Poland and Germany take gold on 1st day at 2021 World Athletics Relays

The first day at the World Athletics Relays saw Poland take gold in the mixed 2x2x400 Metres Relay event in Silesia, Poland, on Saturday. Kenya and Slovenia, finished second and third, respectively. In the mixed Shuttle Hurdles Relay, Germany came out on top taking gold 0.15 seconds ahead of Poland and 3.36 seconds ahead of Kenya.
