India wrestlers are having a superb third day at ongoing Asian Wrestling Championships where India’s Divya Kakran clinched a historic gold in the 68kg category, becoming the only second Indian woman to do so. Navjot Kaur was the only other woman to win gold at Asian Championships in Kyrgyzstan in 2018 under the 65kg category. Not just Divya but other wrestlers too had a tremendous performance in the championships. India’s second gold on day 3 was clinched by Pinki in the 55kg category. Pinki was dominating the bout from the starting itself and kept her momentum continue till the last point. Nirmala Devi, who was competing in the 50kg category, had to settle for silver.
