Wrestling News : Deepak Punia wins semi-final bout at World Wrestling Championships 2019

Rahul Aware suffered little disappointment in the ongoing World Wrestling Championships as he was defeated in the much anticipated semi-final bout against Beko Lomtadze 6-10. Lomtadze was just too quick and too strong for Aware in the first period. He first brought him down and then turned to take a 4-0 lead and then extended the advantage to 7-1 at the break. Although Rahul has lost the bout but the hopes are still alive as he will going to play for the bronze medal tomorrow. On the other hand Deepak Punia won in his semi-final bout and confirmed his silver medal and ofcourse made the country proud by beating Stefan Reichmuth in a one-sided affair and the scoreline was 8-2.
