Volleyball News: Ahmedabad Defenders buy Ranjit for INR 13 lakhs

117 Indian volleyball players went under the hammer in the inaugural player auction of the Pro Volleyball League. The auction saw an intense bidding war for Indian players as the franchises sought to get the best players on offer for their team. It was Ranjit Singh who was signed by the Ahmedabad Defenders for a whopping 13 Lakhs and thus making him the costliest Indian player in the Pro Volleyball League. Ranjit who has represented India on multiple occasions was surprised at the big amount which he was picked and excited to begin his innings with the Ahmedabad Defenders.
