Tokyo Olympics : PV Sindhu’s father reveals reason behind Sindhu’s medal

Sindhu's father PV Ramana speaks exclusively to PS Before the Tokyo Olympics started, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had asked PV Sindhu about her diet as she had to sacrifice one of her favourite food items, ice-cream as part of her preparation. The Prime Minister had told her before going to the Olympics that if she returned with a medal, he would have ice cream with her. Her father Mr. PV Ramana is a proud man and a relieved man too as her daughter has done what no other Indian female athlete has done till date which is winning two Olympic medals. Sindhu came into the bronze medal match on the back of a heartbreaking defeat in the semifinal against Tai Tzu Ying, but dominated her opponent He Bing Jiao right from the start winning in straight games.
