Tennis: Mayer beats Ramos-Vinolas in the German Open first round

Leonardo Mayer dropped just five games as he defeated Albert Ramos-Vinolas in straight sets in the German Open first round. Spaniard Ramos-Vinolas had won four of the pair's previous seven meetings, but Mayer emerged victorious from their last contest - which also came in the first round of the German Open in 2017.
