Tennis: Marin Cilic beats Martin Klizan in the first round of Madrid Open

Marin Cilic fended off four match points as he eventually beat Martin Klizan 6-4 2-6 7-6(0) in the opening round of the Madrid Open. The ninth seed was on the brink of an unenviable five-match losing streak, but produced some superb tennis late on to dominate the tie-break and set up a second round meeting with Jan-Lennard Struff.
