Shooting News: Shooter Heena Sidhu Equals Qualification World Record

Ace Pistol Shooter and former world number one Heena Sidhu, equalled the Women’s 10m Air Pistol qualification world record at the National Selection Trials 1 and 2, being held at Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Range in New Delhi. Heena topped the qualification round by shooting 99, 97, 98, 99, 97 and 97 in the six-series qualifier. Her score equalled the world record held by reigning Olympic and World Champion Anna Korakaki of Greece. Shooting in a strong field of 321 shooters, Heena was eight points above talented young shooter Manu Bhaker, who finished the qualification round with 579 points.
