Olympic News : Virdhawal Khade Upstages Olympic Champion To Win Gold

Ace swimmer Virdhawal Khade continued his impressive form in the run-up to the Asian Games as he beat Olympic champion Joseph Schooling to clinch the gold in men's 100m freestyle at the Singapore National Swimming Championships in Singapore. Khade, who returned to big time action at the Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, clocked 50.26 seconds to win the gold ahead of William Yang of New South Wales and Schooling who came in third at 50.49 seconds. Schooling won the gold at the Rio Games in men's 100m butterfly.
