2018 has been a great year for Indian table-tennis as the paddlers went on to win medals in almost every discipline they competed in the Commonwealth Games held in April. India’s new sensation Manika Batra too was impressive as she won four medals in total and became the first Indian won to win gold in the women’s singles event at the Commonwealth Games. Now, the Indian players are eyeing a similar performance in the Asian Games too but remember the challenge will not be easy. What the players think about this and how is the preparation going for the quadrennial event. We spoke exclusively to Achanta Sharath Kamal
