News: Ric Charlesworth on constant changing of Indian coaches

Indian hockey team has shown a lot of improvement. After podium finishes in Hockey World League and two final appearances in Champions Trophy the Indian hockey team is now placed 5th in FIH rankings. Ric Charlesworth was once appointed as a technical advisor of Hockey India but lost his position due to an unceremonious exit also believes that Indian hockey has improved but the sacking of so many coaches is not going to augur well for Indian hockey in the longer run. Hockey India has sacked six coaches in 9 years starting from Jose Brasa to Michael Nobbs, who helped India qualify for London Olympics. Terry Walsh, who helped India clinch Asian Games gold after 16 long years, Paul Van Ass didn't stay long, Roelant Oltmans was also shown the door. Sjoerd Marijne too was removed after the players revolted against him.
