News: Indian skaters shine in Skating Championship

Indian skaters managed to put up a great show and won a bronze medal at the 18th Asian Roller Skating Championship held in Samoan city of North Korea. In the 3000m relay race, the team comprised of Delhi’s Prakriti Saxena, Karnataka’s Riya and Bhavana from Haryana won the medal for India. Also, Vikram from Maharashtra also managed to win a bronze medal in the 500-meter track race. Apart from this, the team of senior girls-- Aarti, Varsha and Rachita got bronze in the 3000m relay race. In the senior boys category the team of Vikram, Dhanush and Siddhant also settled for a bronze in the 3000 mtr relay race event.
