Motorsport News: W Series driver Naomi Schiff talks about diversity in motorsport

W Series driver (and diversity & inclusion ambassador) Naomi Schiff has revealed details of a message exchange with F1 world champion Lewis Hamilton, on ways he and W Series can collaborate on issues of diversity in motorsport. The messages were exchanged after Hamilton followed Schiff on Instagram, but the Belgium-born Rwandan-German driver hopes to go into more detail with the Briton soon, saying she wants their conversation "to resonate". W Series is all about diversity, with Schiff revealing schemes far and wide to increase the female motorsport talent pool, extending into schools at one end of the spectrum and even to constructors such as Ferrari with their 'girls on track' initiative at the other. Esports will be another recruitment ground for W Series - and with round nine of the E League taking place at an 'epic' 28km Nurburgring in Germany, Schiff urged fans to get involved - simply stating, "I would say if you've missed any other races, do not miss this one". The name is Naomi. Naomi Schiff. The W Series star will also feature as a stunt driver in Daniel Craig's last outing as James Bond, titled 'No Time to Die'. Not to be mistaken for 'Le Chiffre' - Bond's Casino Royale nemesis - Schiff tells how she was tracked down on social media by producers, initially thinking her recruitment was a scam before embarking on her 'amazing' 007 experience.
