Hockey News: India women’s team played out 2-2 draw against England

The Indian women's hockey team on Friday was held to a 2-2 draw by Great Britain in the side's last match of the Tour of England. It was the third drawn match of the tour between the world number nine India and hosts Great Britain. The Indian women's team performed exceptionally well during the five-match tour as they won one, drew three and lost one match. The last match saw Navjot Kaur gave India an early lead, and Gurjit Kaur converted a penalty corner to give India a two-goal advantage before Great Britain's Elizabeth Neal (55') and Anna Toman (60') scored two goals in the last few minutes to earn themselves a draw.
