Handball News: HFI executive director Anandesh Pandey talks to PS on HFI’s future strategies

A successful 49th Senior Women’s National Handball Championship was concluded in Bareilly on Sunday. A total number of 27 teams participated in the tournament that witnessed high-intensity games and impeccable sportsman spirit with spectators present in large numbers cheering up for the teams. After some exciting matches at the championship, Himachal lifted the trophy as they outsmarted Railways by a margin of five points. Both Himachal and Railways teams displayed brilliant efforts in the final. Handball as a sport has seen a major development in recent few years with youngsters taking active participation in every tournament conducted by the federation.
