The Indian senior women’s team was held to a draw in their second international friendly against Uzbekistan at the Yakkasari Stadium in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. India took the lead early in the second half through forward Sandhiya Ranganathan, but the home side clawed back with a little over 10 minutes of regulation time left in the game, as Lyudmila Karachik equalised through a penalty. The Indian eves got a number of chances to double their lead and race away with the game but the Uzbekistan defense played well to keep the danger away and the match eventually ended in a 1-1 draw.
