Manchester United started their 2019-20 Premier League campaign on a fine note as the side from the red half Manchester defeated Chelsea 4-0 at Old Trafford. Chelsea looked brilliant in the first half. Lampard’s side had two glorious chances but Abraham and Emerson hit the post. In between Chelsea's dominance, Rashford converted a penalty and ended the first half 1-0. While in the second half, after seeing Chelsea doing well until the 55th minute or so, United scored three goals, thanks to Rashford, Martial and James. On the same day, Arsenal beat Newcastle United 1-0 away from home. Emery picked some young players in season’s opener. Almiron and Joelinton had chances but it was Aubameyang, who scored the only goal and the match and spoiled the party of Steve Bruce completely.
