Football News: Dortmund start their summer transfer business in style

After seeing Bayern Munich signing Benjamin Pavard and Lucas Hernandez before the start of the 2019 summer transfer market, Borussia Dortmund went as fast as firing gun in the transfer business as the eight-time German champions signed Thorgan Hazard and Julian Brandt. The Belgium international Thorgan Hazard joined Dortmund on a five-year deal from Borussia Monchengladbach for a reported 30million pounds. Thorgan scored 10 goals in the 2018-19 Bundesliga season and helped Monchengladbach to secure the Europa League spot. On the same day, the 23-year-old Julian Brandt also joined Dortmund on a five-year deal from Bayer Leverkusen. Since making his debut in the German top-flight back in 2014 for Leverkusen, Brandt has been placing his shape look brilliant in Germany and can help Favre to set a good base in the coming season.
