Borussia Dortmund winger Julian Brandt feels that his side can turn the tables in the second half of this season for winning the Bundesliga title. Borussia Dortmund last won the German top-flight back in 2012 and since then, the eight-time German champions have been watching nemesis Bayern Munich dominating the league under several different managers. After 17 Bundesliga games, fourth-placed Dortmund have collected 30 points, three behind third-placed Bayern and seven behind leaders Leipzig. Before kick-starting season’s second half, Lucien Favre’s side signed Erling Haaland from Salzburg. The Norwegian Haaland stunned the football world after scoring eight goals in six Champions League appearances, which made many top European clubs looking after his signatures. Haaland’s confidence can back Dortmund to score more as lack of quality in defence might not allow the club to win their ninth German top-flight title. In the Champions League round of 16, Dortmund will face the French champions PSG, who are looking in a bit better shape this season and are aiming to reach the quarters for the first time under Neymar. At the same time last year, Dortmund had a great chance to win the Bundesliga. With the way they are going this season, Lucien Favre need to pull the rabbit out of the hat for winning the domestic league after a long time.
