Bayern Munich won their first Bundesliga match under the brand new leadership of Niko Kovac. Thomas Muller, Robert Lewandowski and Arjen Robben added one each for the German Champions. One the other fence - the 30-year-old Adam Szalai add the only goal against Bayern in the 57th minute of the match.
