Cricket News: KL Rahul jumps 4 places to 2nd spot in ICC T20I rankings

Indian opener KL Rahul jumps four places to 2nd spot in the latest ICC T20 International batting rankings. The Karnataka lad is just behind Pakistan’s T20I skipper Babar Azam and will be aiming to get the pinnacle spot too. He continuously gave good starts to India and ended up receiving the ‘Man of the series’ award too. In the five-matches Rahul scored a whopping 224 runs, the most by any batsman in a bilateral series with a strike rate of 144.51 at an average of 56 with 2 half-centuries to his name. There are now three Indians in the top 10 batsmen as skipper Virat Kohli has retained his ninth position with 105 runs from four matches. Indian opener Rohit Sharma also jumps 3 places to 10th spot in ICC T20 international rankings for batsmen. The Indian vice-captain was India's highest run-getter in the 5-match series after KL Rahul scoring 140 runs.
