Kolkata will take on Punjab in Sharjah as the battle for the last four intensifies. The last time these two guys met each other then Kolkata beat Punjab by two runs at the Sheikh Zayed stadium in Abu Dhabi. So, Punjab will be eyeing revenge this time around. KL Rahul-led Punjab were once languishing at the bottom and now have won four matches on the trot and the last one coming against Hyderabad in their previous match which helped them climb to 5th spot in the IPL 2020 Points Table. Opener Mayank Agarwal is still doubtful for the game against Kolkata. Mandeep Singh is going to be his replacement as he was for the previous match. Punjab captain KL Rahul is the leading run-scorer of the IPL 2020 so far. KL Rahul has so far scored 567 runs in 11 matches and is holding the Orange Cap. On the other hand, Kolkata staged a stunning comeback, following up an eight-wicket hammering by Bangalore with a 59-run win over the high flying Delhi. Their top-order featuring Shubman Gill and Nitish Rana are in form. A big win for Punjab will help them break into the top four while a victory for Kolkata will help them open a four-point gap between them and fifth-placed Punjab.
