India kicked off its campaign at the Boxing World championship on a positive note as Brijesh Yadav punched out Poland's Maleusz Goinski in a brutal opening-round contest ion 81 Kg weight category to advance in the next round. Brijesh, a silver-medallist from the India Open and the Thailand Open earlier this year, not only defeated Polish boxer Goinski 5-0 but also left him with a wound on his head in the first and only bout of the day for India.
