Badminton News: Sindhu beats Michelle Li 21-15, 21-13 to reach French Open second round

Good news for Indian shuttlers from the French Open badminton tournament where ace India shuttler PV Sindhu advances to the second round of the tournament by beating Canada’s Michelle Li 21-15, 21-13. Li was no match to Sindhu’s game play on court and the Canadian went on to make mistakes to which the Indian shuttler picked up advantage of in a superb manner. In another match, Shubhankar Dey also advanced to the second round of the French Open by beating Indonesia’s Tommy Sugiarto 15-21, 21-14, 21-17. Dey lost the first game but made a grand comeback and went on to win the next two games.
