Badminton News: PV Sindhu, HS Prannoy sail into 2nd round

Olympic Silver Medalist PV Sindhu and HS Prannoy won their women’s and men’s singles match respectively to advanced into the second round of the Hong Kong Open 2019 after former world number one Saina Nehwal was knocked out in the first round. PV Sindhu kicked off her tournament on a positive note as she beat Korea's Kim Ga Eun 21-15, 21-16 in the first round.
