Lakshya Sen has been playing tremendous badminton if we talk about the last six months. He secured his maiden world championships bronze in December before winning his first Super 500 title at India Open in January and finishing runner-up at the German Open last week. Lakshya’s outstanding form at the All England Open Championship is being widely appreciated by people all over the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter to appreciate Sen’s efforts in the final of the prestigious tournament against Viktor Axelson. Even Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar lauded Sen’s top form at the tournament and said failure was nothing but a chance to learn and wished him the best for his future. Now after back-to-back tournaments, Lakshya is planning to get some rest, and following this, he has decided to skip the Swiss Open. Lakshya was scheduled to play Sameer Varma in his campaign opener. He will now be seen in Korean Open which starts on 5 April 2022
