Badminton News: Indian shuttlers suffer first round exit on second day at Denmark Open 2020

The second day of the Denmark Open 2020 has not been good for the Indian shuttlers as two out of all the four shuttlers participating in the tournament were being shown the exit gate in the first round itself and now Lakshya Sen and Kidambi Srikanth are the only two participants left from the Indian side who are going to play their second-round match. It was a decent start off for the Indian shuttlers at the beginning of the tournament where young Lakshya Sen registered a victory over Christo Popov giving motivation to all the other Indian shuttlers in the tournament, but the second day witnessed few disappointing performances from the Indian side and as a result, Ajay Jayaram and Shubhankar Dey knocked out of the tournament after being defeated by their respective opponents. Srikanth and Sen will play their second-round match on the same day.
