Badminton News : Another disappointment for Indian shuttlers at All England Open

Tokyo Summer Games is just round the corner and Indian shuttlers are struggling to the core ahead of the marquee event as their form is just slipping down the slope in every tournament they are playing. Starting from Asian tour to recently-concluded All England Open, top Indian shuttlers are miserably failing in displaying their talent on the court. Some experts say that they are lacking in fitness, some say it is the amalgamation of both fitness and proper strategy against their respective opponent. Top players from the country like PV Sindhu, Saina Nehwal, Kidambi Srikanth , and HS Prannoy are failing to produce desired results despite their strong experience against one of the best players in the world. Prominent shuttlers from the county will now have to follow one motive- ‘do whatever it takes' if they have to pass the qualification hurdle and make a mark in Tokyo Olympics. At the same time, the Badminton Association of India will have to make sure that they provide the best possible facilities to these players which include nutrition, physical training, and mental training amongst others.
