Badminton: Lin Dan advanced to last 16 of BWF World Championships

Chinese superstar Lin Dan faced 23-year-old Sameer Verma from India in the second round of the BWF World Championships. Lin has so far won five world championship titles. The 34-year-old former Olympic champion had an easy passage at the Nanjing Olympic Sport Center, winning after 45 minutes in two straight games, 21-17, 21-14, to reach the last 16.
