Tokyo Paralympic News : Paralympic Silver medallist Yogesh Kathuniya exclusive on Power Sportz

Indian para-athletes were on a rampage especially in the track and field events as 8 out of the 19 medals came from the track and field events. One such medallist out of those 8 is Yogesh Kathuniya who bagged a silver medal in men's discus throw F56 category. The 24-year-old threw the disc to a best distance of 44.38 metres in his sixth and last attempt to clinch the silver Despite the silver medal Yogesh Kathuniya is not totally satisfied with his performance as he was eyeing nothing less than a gold medal. With 19 medals in the Tokyo Paralympics the resurgence of Para-sports in the country has well and truly begun and it seems that this number is going to be bigger in the 2024 Paris Paralympics.
