Football News : Christian Eriksen tribute wall erected in Copenhagen, Denmark

A tribute to Christian Eriksen has been created in Copenhagen's Football Village. A graffiti wall with a painting of Eriksen and the Danish tribute sentences "Gold to Denmark - again" and "Come on Denmark" has been added with thousands of supporting and respectful sentences to the player. Thomas Andersen, who normally works in a bank also wrote: "You fought for us, now we are going to fight for you." His friend Jesper Engvang, an engineer, also wrote for good recovery and health. All fans hope to see Christian Eriksen back after Saturday's heart attack during Denmark's match against Finland in the Danish homeground stadium "Parken". A group of 13-14 year old boys, playing in the Football Village's little footfall field, felt deep respect for Eriksen. 14 year old Mans Bank Olsen said he'd write, "Pray for him...yeah", and his 13 year old friend Sofus Holm Henriksen believes "he is going to come back very strong, because I believe in him." The wall was made on Sunday by international Danish graffiti artist Mix Madsen. Media and people have used the wall to express their reaction to Saturday's dramatic events. Christian Eriksen - who is undergoing tests in hospital - posted a message on Tuesday, saying he feels fine.
