Football News: Real Madrid are no longer interested in Bellingham & Mbappe services

According to reports, Real Madrid will not be making a notable acquisition in the upcoming transfer window.

Real Madrid was expected to perform well during the 2022-23 season as the La Liga and European Champions, but Carlo Ancelotti's team has fallen short of expectations.

Lying 12 points behind of leaders Barcelona in Spain's top division, Los Blancos have been expected to invest heavily at the next time of asking to cut the gap on the Catalan giants.

Most significantly, it has been asserted that Real intend to outbid other Premier League clubs in the competition to recruit Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham.

The futures of Luka Modric and Toni Kroos, both in the latter stages of their careers, are uncertain due to the fact that they have just over three months left on their contracts.

Meanwhile, it has been suggested that Real Madrid will continue to monitor any developments regarding Mbappe's future, despite Paris Saint-Germain rejecting a move to them in 2022.

Bellingham is estimated to be worth over £150 million, with his contract set to expire in 2025, while Mbappe would presumably cost around the same amount, depending on how PSG views the situation in the summer, with Mbappe having just over two years left on his new agreement.

But, club authorities, according to Marca, do not want to commit to another big-money deal later this year.

Eduardo Camavigna and Aurelien Tchouameni have both been added to the midfield in recent years, with both being regarded as long-term fixtures in that position.

Real Madrid have already agreed to pay at least €60 million for Palmeiras prodigy Endrick, who will join the club in July 2024.

According to the sources, "big reinforcements" will not be made, leaving the prospect of lower-level deals to continue.

In addition to Modric and Kroos, Nacho, Dani Ceballos, and Marco Asensio are all out of contract in the summer.

The same is true with Karim Benzema, but the renowned forward is expected to sign new terms in the coming weeks.
